FAQs

What is it like to be your client?

It feels like finally being understood and supported. I always lead with compassion knowing that empathy can be hard to come by. I also gently challenge knowing that you are coming to therapy because you want to create change in yourself and your life. I give you plenty of space to tell your story and your struggles while also offering practical strategies that you can use in your real life.

How much does a session cost?

My rate is $150 for a 50-minute session. If you are interested in becoming my client, but are worried about cost, please reach out to me - I’m happy to discuss a sliding scale rate with you.

Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance directly, but I can offer a billing statement which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Reimbursement will be dependent upon your specific insurance plan.

Do you offer in-person or online sessions?

I am currently offering online sessions. While I know that in-person sessions are sometimes preferred, I can tell you that many of my clients enjoy the ease of online sessions. Online sessions can be easier to fit into your schedule while saving you time and gas money.

If you are interested in seeing me, but would greatly prefer in-person, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I may be able to offer in-person or walk-and-talk therapy sessions in time.

What therapy approaches do you use?

I mainly utilize a person-centered approach along with ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy). I also infuse CBT, narrative, mindfulness, and somatic exercises with a flair for depth and insight while your are processing.
