FAQs

What is it like to be your client?

It feels like finally being understood and supported. I always lead with compassion knowing that empathy can be hard to come by. I also gently challenge knowing that you are coming to therapy because you want to create change in yourself and your life. I give you plenty of space to tell your story and your struggles while also offering practical strategies that you can use in your real life.

How much does a session cost?

My rate is $150 for a 50-minute session. If you are interested in becoming my client, but are worried about cost, please reach out to me - I’m happy to discuss a sliding scale rate with you.

Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance directly, but I can offer a billing statement which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Reimbursement will be dependent upon your specific insurance plan. I also take HSA/FSA cards.

Do you offer in-person or online sessions?

I am currently offering both in-person or online sessions. I have in-person availability on Tuesdays. My office is located right next to Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta.

What therapy approaches do you use?

I mainly utilize a person-centered approach along with ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy). I also infuse CBT, narrative, mindfulness, and somatic exercises with a flair for depth and insight while your are processing.
